Chazan Rafi Muller joined our community at Succot 5766/2005.

He relocated from Antwerp in Belgium with his wife, Tamara, and they have four sons. He has gained an international reputation, has appeared on television and has issued his own CD. 

He also studied for more than five years at Israeli's prestigous Ponevez Yeshiva in Bnei Barak.  Chazan Muller enhances the Shabbat and Yom tov services with his lyrical tenor voice. 

In 2010, he recorded a special CD for Yeshurun with nineteen familiar melodieses including Lecha Dodi from the Erev Shabbat service, the Shabbat Mussaph Kedusha, and Adon Olam.  The intention was to provide listeners with a better understanding of the principal regular prayers in the Ashkenazi liturgy, and each track is introduced by Rabbi Chaim Kanterovitz who explains their meaning and origins.  The CD can be purchased from the Shul office.
