Yeshurun’s Book Club enjoyed a hugely successful book launch evening with international best selling author Sophie Hannah. This special event was part of the shul’s Golden Jubilee celebrations. Sophie has a unique view of life and society and captivated the audience with highly amusing anecdotes about her writing, how she comes across ideas, and then formulates the plot. A lively question and answer session revealed her “addiction” to twitter, where she feels she can relate on a quite personal level with her readers. The Club meets every six weeks and everyone is welcome!
