Over 270 members of Yeshurun Synagogue came to meet and hear from the Chief Rabbi on Motzei Shabbat when he helped celebrate our 50th anniversary year.
Dr Jonathan Sacks and Lady Sacks were introduced to some of the Founder members of the Synagogue whose vision of inclusivity and democracy are still very much at the heart of this thriving community.
Dr Sacks also met with the younger members of the shul where he presented Judith Shonfield and James Feldman with awards for their ongoing commitment as young adults to the shul, before delighting the packed hall with an honest and thought-provoking “Q&A” session with His Honour Judge Charles Bloom.
