The Coffee, Bagel and Chat group meet approximately once every six weeks between September and May/June. We ask for donations of £5 for which we provide coffee/tea, a variety of delicious bagels and Kuchen.
At each meeting we have a speaker. Talks in the past have covered topics such as ‘The Prison Service in Strangeways’, ‘Are there aliens out there?’,and ‘Mystery Shopping.’ Some of the talks are good, and some are excellent.
The meetings are open to anyone, and start at 10.30 a.m. and finish about 12 noon.
Typically 60+ people of a variety of age groups attend, but some meetings have attracted over 100 attendees.
Notification is generally by e-mails but hard copy circulars are provided for those who do not have access to the internet.
Lifts are available for those who do not have transport.
