Yeshurun is a modern active Orthodox Synagogue which offers a varying programme of social, educational and religious activities for the youth of the Cheadle Gatley Jewish Community. To participate, please contact the Shul office .
Yeshurun arranges regular events for the children and young people of the Community, particularly during Chagim such as Purim, Chanukah, Succot and Simchat Torah. Large celebratory events are held with activities for each age group.
South Manchester Maccabi
There are excellent opportunities for South Manchester Jewish youth to participate in football and other sports locally. There is a major sports facility for Maccabi use in the grounds of North Cheshire Jewish Primary School, just five minutes drive from Yeshurun. It has a range of youth sports activities.
JLGB
JLGB is a nationwide Jewish youth group for ages 8-18 with a wide range of positive activities which are both fun and character building. JLGB also offers Duke of Edinburgh Awards training.Please see the website at www.jlgb.org.
FZY and Habonim
Young Yeshurun members can join these groups which serve the South Manchester Jewish community as a whole.
